Windflower

A spring flowering perennial with daisy-like flowers of violet-blue, white or pink with pale yellow centres. Ideal around shrubs and trees, interplanted with other spring flowering perennials and bulbs.

They are deciduous, their flowers and fern-like leaves die down in early summer.

Plant tubers in rich, moist soil, preferably in full sun or partial shade in the autumn. If left alone they will multiply and naturalise, but they can be lifted and divided after flowering.
